Education
Our mission is to provide outstanding education enabling children to realize their God-given potential.
Love God. Love Knowledge. Change the World.
Our school motto is “Enter to Learn… Leave to Serve.”
Nursery and Primary School features an excellent staff of teachers and an experienced Head Master, as well as loving house-parents for our boarding students. We provide a rigorous Christ-centered education based on Ugandan educational standards, high-performance, and holistic outcomes for students.
The Vine Nursery School
A good education starts with a loving foundation. The Vine offers three classes focused on early childhood development:
Baby Class (three-year-olds)
Middle Class (four-year-olds)
Top Class (five-year-olds)
The Vine Primary School
In Primary One, students enter a rigorous curriculum based on Christian values and English proficiency. They continue to grow with us until they’ve finished Primary Seven. Both day and boarding students reside at The Vine as we provide a safe and energetic environment for children to thrive. Our talented and committed teachers also provide before and after school tutoring, as well as other extra-curricular activities such as sports, gardening, and animal rearing—which enhances their learning.
Although Uganda values education, only half of the children starting Primary School will finish 7th grade.
Merely 22% of Ugandan students complete Secondary School, leaving most children little hope to rise above the crushing weight of poverty.
