Palm Leaf Clutch -Mint Green Pom Pom Tassel

$46.00

Palm leaf purse with a triple ombre mint pom and tassel combo

The process begins with approximately 8 hours of weaving palm leaves and banana fiber leaves.  A pre-selected grouping of palm leaves are dyed beforehand infusing vibrant color to the natural leaf.  The women spend many hours weaving the leaves together in long strands.  Multiple strands are then joined together creating the intricate patterns and colorful designs.  Preserving the native practice of weaving and using natural Ugandan fibers is an important part of The Vine Collective.
